The Sonos PLAY:5 Wireless HiFi is a high-quality 5-way speaker unit for use with your existing Sonos Digital Music System. It provides fantastic sound quality in any room of your home, with audio streamed over the SonosNet 2.0 mesh networking system.

5 Class-D digital amplifiers provide the power for the 5 speaker drivers, which include 2 tweeters, 2 mid-range drivers, and a subwoofer. The result is superb sound quality across a wide frequency range. The Sonos PLAY:5 can rival much larger and more complicated speaker setups in terms of sheer audio reproduction.

Best of all, the Sonos PLAY:5 Wireless HiFi is exceptionally easy to use. You can control the device with the free Sonos Controller app for your iPhone or iPod touch, which allows you to navigate the vast array of music on the internet and your Mac or PC. Of course you can also control the PLAY:5 from your Mac or PC directly, or add a Sonos Controller 200 for even more flexibility.

An amazing new addition to the capabilities of the Sonos system, Sonos have now released a free upgrade available on all new and already purchased Sonos systems.

Sonos now has the same technology as AirPlay and Bluetooth, playing music directly from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch with iOS6. Combine this with the reliable signal, easy setup and uncompromised sound quality promised by Sonos, and you have limitless possibilities for audio around your home.
