All gas cookers are installed by Gas Safe Register engineers. Engineers will complete a gas safety test on all gas fittings and appliances, and issue you with a Gas Appliance Installation Certificate.

You can purchase our installation service at the same time you buy your new cooker both in our stores or here online.



Built-in Electric Cooker Installation

We can install your new built-in electric cooker when we deliver.

Our expert installers are available 7 days a week and can take away your old built-in appliance for recycling if you’d like them to. If you need us to remove a gas or dual fuel cooker, please let us know beforehand so we can send the right engineers to your home.

You can purchase our installation service at the same time you buy your new cooker both in our stores or here online.

The CTN464NC01 features multizone cooking, which means you can prepare several dishes at once, including large platters and dishes. Impeccable engineering allows consistent heat distribution, so you can make the most of the hob's surface.

Induction hobs also have lots of eco and safety features that you wouldn't find on gas or electric hob. As the hob only generates heat when it is in contact with induction compatible cookware, it helps to save energy, and the CTN464NC01 also features temperature indicators to warn you when the hobs are hot. Delivery and service

Home Delivery

The Knowhow service team are here to deliver your product at a time that fits around your schedule. Not only will we deliver it for you but we can install it up for you then take your old product away for free recycling.
If you order before 9pm, we can deliver the very next day to you in most areas.
Delivery can be arranged 7 days a week and our standard delivery is offered between 7am and 7pm. Alternatively you can select from a range of 4 hour delivery slots that best suit your schedule.

Removed & Recycled for Free
When we deliver your new appliance, we’ll recycle your old one to save you the trouble. Unlike many other retailers it’s completely free and we’ll take away all the packaging too.
Please note that you will need to disconnect your old product before we arrive unless you have purchased installation.

Built-in Electric Cooker or Hob Installation

When you have your new built-in electric oven or hob delivered, why not have it installed at the same time? Our installation services are available to purchase from the ‘Confirm basket' page.

Built-in cooking appliances need to be installed by a qualified installer and is not something that should be carried out by any other person. All our trained installers are accredited by UKAS (UK Accreditation Service). They are continually trained and evaluated.

What you'll get as part of the installation:
• Deliver your new oven or hob and unpack it for you
• Disconnect your old cooker and check that the connections are safe to use
• Unbox and check the new product
• Carry out a health and safety check to make sure that required clearance space between your cooker and cabinets are met
• Carefully fit your oven, hob and hood into an existing space
• The installation team are fully qualified installers of electrical goods. They are accredited by UKAS (UK Accreditation Service), and continually trained and evaluated.
• Need access to your fuse box to complete an electrical safety test and provide you with an Electrical Appliance Installation Certificate
• We’ll give you a demonstration of your new cooker and its settings
• Take your old cooker and packaging away to be recycled if you want us to

Before we arrive please make sure:
• You are at home at the time we’ve agreed to visit
• Make sure we have clear access to the area you want your new cooker installed, and that it will fit into that area
• Make sure you have an electrical connection within 1.5 meters of the installation area

We want to make sure you know what isn’t covered by our built-in electric or hob cooker installation service so there are no surprises when we visit you at home
• If we are installing an electric cooker and you want us to remove an existing gas cooker, then please let us know as this requires a gas safe Registered engineer. Call our customer contact centre on 0844 561 1234 after completing your purchase online
• We cannot connect your new cooker if it puts you or our installer at risk
• We cannot connect your new cooker if the installation doesn’t pass health and safety guidelines

• If there is no suitable 30amp Electric Cooker Control panel (large red switch) within 2 metres of the location of installation for double ovens and some of signal ovens
