Delivery and service

Home Delivery

The Knowhow service team are here to deliver your product at a time that fits around your schedule. Not only will we deliver it for you but we can install it up for you then take your old product away for free recycling.
If you order before 9pm, we can deliver the very next day to you in most areas.
Delivery can be arranged 7 days a week and our standard delivery is offered between 7am and 7pm. Alternatively you can select from a range of 4 hour delivery slots that best suit your schedule.

Removed & Recycled for Free
When we deliver your new appliance, we’ll recycle your old one to save you the trouble. Unlike many other retailers it’s completely free and we’ll take away all the packaging too.
Please note that you will need to disconnect your old product before we arrive unless you have purchased installation.

Built-in Gas Oven or Hob Installation

When you have your new gas oven or hob delivered, why not have it installed at the same time? Our installation services are available to purchase from the ‘Confirm basket' page before checkout. We are currently unable to offer installation of Integrated Appliances in Northern Ireland.

Installing built-in cooking products, particularly those with gas, needs to be done by a qualified installer and is not something that should be carried out by any other person. All our trained installers are accredited by UKAS (UK Accreditation Service) and are registered with the Gas Safe Register, previously by CORGI. They are continually trained and evaluated.

What you'll get as part of the installation:
• Deliver your new oven or hob and unpack it for you
• Disconnect your old oven or hob and check that the connections are safe to use
• Unbox and check the new product
• Carry out a health and safety check to make sure that required clearance space between your cooker and cabinets are met and no electrical sockets are located directly above your gas hob or oven and there is no danger caused by wallpaper or wooden wall surfaces.
• Access your gas meter to check that the connections are safe to use and there is no gas leak detected
• Connect the gas pipes and check they are sealed correctly
• Carefully fit the oven or hob into an existing space
• The installation team are fully qualified installers as they are registered with Gas Safe Register
• Complete a gas pressure test of your new cooker for gas safety and provide you with a Gas Cooker Installation Certificate
• Give you a demonstration of your new cooker and its settings
• Take your old cooker and packaging away to be recycled if you’d like us to

Before we arrive please make sure:
• You are at home at the time we’ve agreed to visit
• Make sure we have clear access to your gas meter and the area you want your new cooker installed, and that it will fit into that area
• Make sure you have an electrical connection or gas supply within 1.5 meters of the installation area

Installation Health and Safety Guidelines
Unfortunately we will not be able to install your cooker in any of the following situations:
• If the installation is considered to put you or our installers at risk
• If the installation doesn’t pass health and safety guidelines. These guidelines would prevent installations in instances where you have combustible materials near your cooker. An electric switch, plug socket above the cooker, wallpaper or wooden wall behind the cooker would all be reasons for a refused installation. Please ensure any of these potential issues are resolved prior to the engineer’s arrival.
