Taking into account the camera's APS-C sized sensor with inherent 1.6x crop factor, this lens has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 29-88mm - which is ideal for shooting anything from a landscape to a portrait.
Video shooters will appreciate the EOS 550D's ability to capture stunning videos with selectable resolutions and frame rates, up to a maximum of Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels at 29.97 fps.
