Dead Rising 2 resumes the storyline from the first game following the first outbreak of the zombie virus in Colorado. The chief protagonist Chuck Greene is an ex-motocross champion who takes part in an extreme reality show known as "Terror is Reality" where the slaughter of the undead is used as entertainment. Implicated for the release of zombies from a nearby "Terror is Reality" facility, it is up to you to help Chuck clear his name before the arrival of the military quarantine units. Added to this, Chuck's daughter requires Zombrex, the antidote to the virus, to live. These three objectives guide your progression in-game and an arsenal of weapons are at your disposal to help. Chuck is also able to combine objects to create powerful hybrid weapons, so weapon choices are endless. Case-files become available as the game advances and your level of success with these will unlock one of four endings. Psychopath boss battles are designed to test your mettle, as some enemies are ordinary people who have been driven into madness by their circumstances. Multi-player mode is a pay-per-view "Terror is Reality" event where up to four players can join forces via X Box Live to complete a series of mini-games.
