Delivery over the Bank Holiday

Delivery dates over the Bank Holiday may be slightly different. Please see the table below for our earliest delivery dates based on the date you order during this period. All other dates remain unaffected.

Large Product Delivery Information

Large products such as cookers, fridge/freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, and large screen TVs above 39” are generally delivered by our Knowhow delivery teams.

The Knowhow team are here to deliver your product at a time that fits around your schedule. Not only will we deliver it for you but we can install it up for you then take your old product away for free recycling.*

Next Day, Timed Slot and Weekend Delivery Charges

Our delivery services are free for standard delivery. For next day delivery or delivery during a 4 hour time slot, additional charges apply.

Our pricing table is below. Please note that delivery charges are based on weekday delivery. Deliveries on a weekend are subject to an additional £2.99 delivery charge.

Small products include items such as small kitchen appliances, iPods, sat navs, cameras, TVs under 39”, printers, tablets and laptops. These are couriered to you from our delivery partners.

Where do we deliver?

We deliver to all mainland UK addresses (including Northern Ireland) and the following islands: Isle of Sky, Isle of Sheppey, Angelsey, the Isle of Wight, and the Isle of Man*. This excludes the Channel Islands and BFPO.

*Delivery fees may be higher

When do we deliver?

For our larger items, such as domestic appliances and our large screen TVs, we deliver 7 days a week usually between 7am and 8pm (service may vary in some outlying areas of the UK).*

For smaller items, standard delivery is Monday to Friday, generally from 7am to 8pm, and we aim to get your purchase to you within 3-5 working days. Please allow 4-7 working for extended Bank Holiday periods such as Christmas and Easter.

*Delivery days exclude Bank holidays and Easter.

Order tracking

Whether you have a standard delivery or a specific delivery booked with us, you can track your order through our dedicated Knowhow tracking webpage, or via the courier specified in your confirmation email.

If you have chosen a standard free delivery you can find out what time we are due to deliver on the day. After 9pm, the night before your confirmed delivery date, visit our Knowhow Track It facility and pop your details in the tracker to view the delivery schedule.

Larger items such as domestic appliances and large screen TVs may not be available to view until after 10pm.

All you need is your reference number (found on your email confirmation or receipt from store), your postcode and telephone number.

Delivery terms

Product availability

On some products, we offer the option to order an item in advance if it’s not in stock at the time, but we know that more stock is on its way and we will let you know the date we expect delivery to be available on the site. If you purchase two or more products at a time, they may have different availabilities and methods of delivery, in which case you may receive your items individually as soon as they become available.

VAT & Delays

Please be aware that we cannot offer VAT refunds to overseas customers ordering goods to be delivered to a UK address. We do everything we can to ensure our delivery times are met but sometimes delays do occur with deliveries to the Scottish Islands and during peak ordering periods. We will let you know if we become aware of any unexpected delays.

Before we arrive

Before we arrive, we would ask that you ensure that the old appliance is in a fit state to be taken away by us. For a refrigeration appliance, for example, that means that it should be free of water & fully defrosted.

If you haven’t opted for an installation services but would like your old one taken away, no problem - just make sure you’ve safely disconnected your old appliance before we arrive. Please use a qualified engineer to do this – for example gas and dual fuel cookers should be disconnected by Gas Safe Register approved engineers.

In some instances we may not be able to remove your old appliance if for example:

  • Your appliance is hard wired into a fused spur
  • Your appliance has seized up tap connections

Small box delivery - Next day, Named Day & Time to Suit delivery services are not available for the following postcodes:
