The Knowhow service team are here to deliver your product at a time that fits around your schedule. Not only will we deliver it for you but we can install it up for you then take your old product away for free recycling.
If you order before 10pm, we can deliver the very next day to you in most areas.
Delivery can be arranged 7 days a week and our standard delivery is offered between 7am and 7pm. Alternatively you can select from a range of 4 hour delivery slots that best suit your schedule.

Removed & Recycled for Free
When we deliver your new appliance, we’ll recycle your old one to save you the trouble. Unlike many other retailers it’s completely free and we’ll take away all the packaging too.
Please note that you will need to disconnect your old product before we arrive unless you have purchased installation.

Freestanding Gas or Dual Fuel Cooker Installation

When you have your new freestanding gas or dual fuel cooker delivered, why not have it installed at the same time? Our installation services are available to purchase from the ‘Confirm basket’ page.

Installing gas cookers is legally required to be done by a qualified installer and all of our gas installers are registered with the Gas Safe Register (previously CORGI) and accredited by UKAS (UK Accreditation Service).

What you'll get as part of the installation:
• Deliver your new cooker and unpack it for you
• Disconnect your old cooker and check that the connections are safe to use
• Unbox and check the new product
• Carry out a health and safety check to make sure that required clearance space between your cooker and cabinets are met and no electrical sockets are located directly above your cooker and there is no danger caused by wallpaper or wooden wall surfaces.
• Access your gas meter to check that the connections are safe to use and there is no gas leak detected
• Securely wire the cooker to an existing spur point or control panel and fit protective trunking if hardwiring is required i.e. we’ll always make sure it is wired safely!
• Check that gas pipes are sealed correctly
• Fit your gas or dual fuel cooker into an existing space
• The installation team are fully qualified installers as they are registered with Gas Safe Register
• Complete a gas pressure test of your new cooker for gas safety and provide you with a Gas Cooker Installation Certificate
• For dual fuel cooker, our installers will also complete an electrical safety test and provide an Electrical Appliance Installation Certificate
• Give you a demonstration of your new cooker and its settings
• Take your old cooker and packaging away to be recycled if you’d like us to

Before we arrive please make sure:
• You are at home at the time we’ve agreed to visit
• Make sure we have clear access to your gas meter and the area you want your new cooker installed, and that it will fit into that area
• Make sure you have an electrical connection or gas supply within 1.5 meters of the installation area

Installation Health and Safety Guidelines
Unfortunately we will not be able to install your cooker in any of the following situations:
• If the installation is considered to put you or our installers at risk
• If the installation doesn’t pass health and safety guidelines. These guidelines would prevent installations in instances where you have combustible materials near your cooker. An electric switch, plug socket above the cooker, wallpaper or wooden wall behind the cooker would all be reasons for a refused installation. Please ensure any of these potential issues are resolved prior to the engineer’s arrival.
• For dual fuel cookers, if there is no suitable 30amp Electric Cooker Control panel (large red switch) within 2 metres of the location of the cooker

Range Style Cookers
Please check the access for these appliances as they are particularly large and difficult to manoeuvre; they are more than twice the size and weight of a conventional cooker!

Dual-Fuel Cookers
Please make sure that you have checked the requirements for both gas and electric in your home before installation.
