Mobile Wi-Fi allows you to create your own wi-fi connection wherever you are without using a USB port or dongle. Once connected, you can use this mini modem to link up to 5 wi-fi enabled devices to the internet at the same time.

You’ll need your Mobile Wi-Fi device and the SIM card that comes with it. The set-up guide shows you how to insert the SIM into the modem and also how to charge your modem when you need to. If you purchase the Pay As You Go version you will also need a top-up voucher so you can top-up your account.

It’s really easy. Using either wi-fi or the USB cable provided, turn on the Mobile Wi-Fi, choose the wireless option on your laptop or other wi-fi enabled device, select connect , then enter the security key. You can now connect to the internet.

It gives you access to the dashboard so you can check usage, send text messages, and increases speed.

Any wi-fi enabled device - laptops, netbooks and the iPod touch for example. You can also hook up your hand held games consoles, such as the Nintendo DS or Sony PSP for online gaming on the move.

The amount of data you use depends on what you do while you’re online. 1GB will normally let you surf for 10 hours, or download one film or 200 music tracks.

Simply log into my3.three.co.uk on your PC or laptop to activate the top-up. You can then convert the top-up to one of our three Add-ons: Broadband Lite (1GB of data for £10), Broadband Plus (3GB of data for £15) or Broadband Max (7GB for £25). Please note that three.co.uk and My3 are free to browse using Mobile Wi-Fi.

Once you’re online using Mobile Wi-Fi, they’ll need to go to my3.three.co.uk, where you’ll be automatically logged into your account. You can then find out how much data you’ve used so far, and the current spend on your bill. Don’t forget that three.co.uk and My3 are free to browse using Mobile Wi-Fi.
