Combining much of Canon’s most advanced technology, the award-winning Canon EOS 1000D Digital SLR Camera Body is an affordable, entry-level camera that features powerful DIGIC III image processor and the EOS Integrated Cleaning System - to keep the sensor free of dust and saving on laborious post-processing work.
This 10.1 mp camera is an ideal purchase for anyone wanting to move up from a compact camera, and will provide a marked increase in both image quality and creative possibilities! Focusing is performed via a 7-point wide area, enabling ultra-fast AF with hyper-sensitive central point focusing to enable well focused pictures in low light levels.
The Canon 1000D also boasts a 2.5-inch LCD screen with Live View mode, which enables you to take photos in situations where it's difficult to use the viewfinder, such as at low levels or awkward angles. Home delivery
Our Currys home delivery team delivers available products directly to your door. To choose your delivery options first add the product to your basket, then continue through the checkout process.
We deliver to anywhere in the UK (except Channel Islands). We are unable to deliver some larger items to the Isle of Man, Anglesey, the Isles of Scilly and the Scottish Islands.
We send small items, such as cameras and iPods by courier. We, deliver large items, such as appliances and TVs larger than 21”, directly to your door or chosen address.
On selected products we offer the option to pre-order products before they are released. We also offer the option to order some items in advance. That means that we have run out of stock but we know that more is on its way.
