What is Black Friday?

Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping events of the year, where there are some exceptional bargains to be had. It all started in the US, where people are often off work and hitting the shops on the day after Thanksgiving, prompting retailers to cut prices to tempt them in. The tradition has now spread to the UK, which means, while we don’t get a public holiday, we do at least get to enjoy some incredible offers.

When does Black Friday start?

This year, Black Friday falls on 26 November, which is the day after Thanksgiving in the US. For the organised amongst us, it’s also the perfect time to pick up some early Christmas gifts at a discount.

Will there be any early Black Friday deals at Currys
