This Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 III High Performance Compact Digital Camera is small enough to fit in your pocket, but lets you capture every moment with the utmost clarity. Frame your scenes perfectly with the OLED electronic viewfinder, paired with a high-resolution LCD display and ZEISS T coating.

You'll capture intricate detail and rich colours thanks to a wide-angle ZEISS Vario-Sonnar lens with a large f/1.8 maximum aperture. Whether you're going for wide-angle architectural shots, intimate portraits or subjects in motion, this lens will help you achieve the results you want.

BIONZ X image processing helps to bring out every texture in your photos, even when you're shooting fast-moving subjects.

Get the shot you're after

With its 3” TFT LCD screen, your Sony RX100III is extremely versatile – tilt the display upward through a full 180 degrees, down to 45 degrees and even twist to grab easy selfies or to capture images from difficult angles and unique perspectives. Shoot comfortably over crowds or from very low vantage points.

The OLED Tru-Finder offers a bright view on every subject with a hi-res SVGA EL screen – image clarity extends to the very edges of the frame to counteract blurring, allowing you to compose your photos more accurately.

ZEISS T is a proprietary technology that minimises flare and reflection in the viewfinder – even when you're shooting in bright sunlight. An eye sensor enables you to immediately shift between the viewfinder and LCD screen so that you can really fine tune each composition. You can even retract the viewfinder into the camera body to preserve its streamlined design.

More lens, more photo

The DSC-RX100M3 lets you shoot both closer and wider with its 8.8-25.7 mm lens which is the equivalent to a 24-70 mm lens on a 35 mm system. Capture everything from expansive scenery portraits with this versatile optic.

Thanks to its f/1.8-f/2.8 aperture range, you'll be able to capture beautifully detailed photographs in all lighting conditions – even if it's dark. Achieve stunning depth of field effects and even try your hand at creative blurring techniques.

Contrast is kept high through a design incorporating nine aspherical lenes that include exclusive glass-moulded lens elements. Even when you're zooming, distortion is kept at bay. Each image offers exceptional edge-to-edge quality without adding unnecessary bulk to the camera.

Advanced image processing

Every frame will look more real with BIONZ X image processing technology, which delivers superior image resolution and lifelike texture rendering, whether you're taking still images or shooting Full HD videos.

Its sophisticated detail reproduction technology reduces emphasized outlines so that images stay natural looking and finely-detailed. Clarity is enhanced via intelligent noise reduction, even when shooting in dim conditions. Blurring is offset by diffraction-reducing systems to maintain excellent photo detail, even when you're shooting at deep focus levels.

Complete range of camera connections

The Sony RX100 III offers built-in WiFi so that you can easily access a wireless network to share your photos online or save them to cloud services.

NFC (Near Field Communication) lets you establish a direct connection with NFC-enabled wireless devices such as smartphones and tablets, so that you can transfer your images with one-touch, hasslefree pairing.

There are also micro and high-speed USB ports, a micro HDMI port for connection to an HD TV and a media card slot that accepts a wide range of media cards to make storing and transferring your photos as simple and flexible as possible.

Super camera. So good, this is my second. Picture quality for a compact is exceptional. Lots of features but, to be honest, I mostly use the superior auto mode for speedy snaps. This model has the tilt screen.
Needs a glass screen saver. The unprotected screen on my old RX100 got so scratched, I could barely see it.

Fast Zeiss lens, compact enough to fit in a pocket, large (ish) sensor so better quality images
Camera body hard to hold securely because it has a smooth metal case. The camera slipped from my grasp once but luckily I caught it. Remedied with the purchase of an optional Sony grip which makes the world of difference. IMHO it really should be supplied with this fitted as standard

Important update on our delivery service for small items

Our courier partners (DPD, Royal Mail and On the Dot) have all updated their delivery processes to take extra precautions due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please follow the below advice:

1. Customers can use the DPD app to nominate a ‘safe place’ for their delivery to be left if they do not want close contact.

For customers unable to use the DPD app, DPD is still able to offer a contact-free delivery and will take a picture of the property and capture a proof of delivery name instead of capturing a customer signature.

2. Royal Mail is an unsigned service. Where Royal Mail needs to deliver a parcel, its teams will place the parcel at the customer’s door. Having knocked on the door, the delivery teams will step aside to a safe distance while the item is retrieved. If the delivery cannot take place, Royal Mail will take the parcel to the local depot for collection by the customer.  The parcel will be held for 18 days as per normal process.

3. For On the Dot, where a standard signature delivery is not possible, On the Dot will attempt to leave the parcel in a safe place and inform the customer of where the parcel has been placed.

Order & Collect ­­– The majority of our stores are now open and offering a collection service, allowing you to safely order online and collect from store contact-free.

Our stores with parking available can offer a Drive Thru collection experience using the parking bays clearly marked outside the store. Here’s how it works;

  • Once you’ve had confirmation your order is ready to collect, drive to the store.
  • When you’ve arrived, click on the link in your confirmation email to let our team know.
  • One of our colleagues will put your order in your car boot.

Stores, including those which DO NOT have parking outside, can still offer a safe Walk Up service. We have safety measures in place to keep you and our staff protected whilst you queue. Here’s how it works;
