Classic styling and modern tech meet for the best of both worlds

Brilliant images

The Nikon Df uses a traditional chassis yet is packed with modern features – a 16.2 megapixel FX-format image sensor is paired with a powerful EXPEED 3 image processing engine. This combination ensures the perfect balance of detail, quality, and speed.

The wide ISO range lets you shoot subjects in difficult lighting conditions and allows you to bring out crisp edges, shadow areas, natural colour tones, and smooth graduation.

Focus on the subject

The NIKKOR 50 mm f/1.8 G Special Edition lens is the perfect partner for the Df, delivering sharp, richly detailed, and natural photos, even in low light.

The manual focusing ring provides precise focus adjustment while the exceptional 39-point autofocus system with 9 highly accurate cross-type sensors across the whole aperture range, so you can achieve a perfect focused subject no matter where it sits in the frame.

Fast moving subjects are captured easily thanks to the 5.5 frames per second continuous shooting.

Scene Recognition System

With outstanding image metering and onboard intelligence, you can enjoy creative freedom when focusing your shots.

The Scene Recognition System analyses the shooting scene before comparing it to an onboard database of thousands of scenes. It will then decide the best exposure, white balance and autofocus settings, and i-TTL flash exposure if you're using a Nikon Speedlight accessory.

It features HDR photography which works by combining three photos into one highly dynamic image. Furthermore, the Active D-Lighting will automatically kick-in and brighten shadowy areas, leaving you with a picture perfect moment.

Classic styling and modern tech

Bringing together classic styling with modern technology, the Df has been crafted with a unique mechanical operation system that gives you a more personal shooting experience.

The rugged magnesium alloy body handles rough environments while a 3.2” LCD display provides high-definition viewing of your moments.

Built exclusively for capturing beautiful stills, the elegant camera control puts all the buttons in the right place, while the traditional grip ensures precise control over the dedicated dials.
