Step 2: Find the size of bracket to fit your TV
LThere are three different options to establish the correct size of bracket to fit your TV: Option 1. Use our ‘fits most’ principles to match your TV screen size to the range of brackets we have available.
Step 3: Options for installing your bracket
There are 2 options for installing your TV
Option 1: Install the bracket yourself.
A. Firstly, consider your wall construction where you would like to mount the TV. If you have brick walls (masonry), it’s easy as all wall brackets can be installed in any location.
B. If you have plasterboard walls (partition), you will need to locate the wall studs before installation. Wall studs are the wooden elements which support your partition wall. Using a stud finder you can locate these to ensure the fixing between bracket and wall is in the correct location.
Please note you will need a spirit level to ensure that the bracket installation is even and level, for the best television viewing.
Option 2: Alternatively use our Knowhow™ wall mount and demonstration service to install your TV bracket.

TV stands are a great way of showing off your television in your home, as well as housing additional related devices such as Blu-ray players and digital set-top boxes, and usually disguising the cables too. When buying a new TV stand, you will need to consider not only the design of the stand but also its size to ensure that it fits the available space in your home, suits the decor and is appropriately sized for your TV size. All of our TV stands indicate the television screen size that they are compatible with as well as the actual stand dimensions to ensure that when you get it home, it fits perfectly in the space. You may also like to consider the features listed below in making the correct TV stand purchase.Built-in cable management
Many of our TV stands now include built-in cable management systems which hide untidy cables and allow your TV to be the focus of the room.
Stands with brackets
Some of our television stands now come with integrated brackets which allow you flexibility to mount your TV and vary the angle of it for optimum viewing, whilst retaining storage capabilities that a traditional stand provides for your related devices such as Blu-ray players and digital set-top boxes.
Infrared compatible doors
Many of the television stands available have doors and cupboards to hide away your extra devices for a minimalist look, but have infrared functionality which allows the remote control to work through this barrier. Look out for the stands which indicate that they are infrared (IR) compatible.

Selecting the correct aerial is vital for maximising your picture quality. You can either choose a rooftop outdoor aerial or an indoor aerial.
The best reception will always be achieved using a rooftop outdoor aerial rather than an indoor aerial. Where this is not practical, such as when you live in a flat or when you want to have a TV in a bedroom without an outdoor aerial connection socket, we recommend to check your distance from your nearest transmitter to determine which indoor aerial is most suitable. 3D TVs are a great addition to anyones home as 3D TVs have enhanced screen technology, excellent for everyday 2D viewing. There are two different types of 3D TVs; active and passive.
Many 3D TVs come with one or two pairs of 3D glasses, but to share the 3D experience you will need to purchase additional glasses. You first need to check if your 3D TV is active or passive and then make sure you buy the correct type of 3D glasses.
Active 3D gives you the Full HD experience using technology for the very best 3D picture, especially for films and gaming. Active 3D glasses can be more cumbersome than passive 3D as they require batteries but the experience is second to none.
Make sure when buying your active glasses you purchase the same brand as your TV to ensure compatability.
Passive 3D provides a great value solution for multiple viewers as the glasses are lightweight, inexpensive and comfortable. Passive 3D glasses aren’t powered so no need to recharge them or buy new batteries, unlike active 3D glasses, so simply pop on and enjoy a great 3D cinematic experience in the comfort of your own home.
Passive 3D glasses are compatable with all passive TVs regardless of the TV brand
