Apple’s iPhone 16e is the shiny new replacement for the iPhone SE in their mobile family. And the iPhone 16e specs are a serious upgrade from what came before.

First off, there’s the bigger screen. It’s rocking a massive 6.1” OLED display – making whatever you watch or play really look the part. The same goes for your holiday snaps too. And speaking of photos, what’s the camera situation here? Well, it’s got the one 48MP wide lens on the back, with a 12MP selfie camera on the front. So, you’re covered for everything from scenic shots to group pics on nights out.

Performance gets as big boost as well. Under the hood, there’s an A18 chip – the same one used on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. Meaning you’ll be flying between tabs and apps without any slowdown getting in the way. Oh, and we haven’t even mentioned the battery yet. It’s now larger and lasts for even longer, giving you plenty of time for some marathon Netflix binges or gaming sessions.

Last but not least, the flagship feature here has to be its built-in Apple Intelligence. Beforehand, this handy AI was only available for the pricier models of iPhone. But now they’re rolling it out here too. Giving you access to cool tools like Notification Summaries, Clean Up and a fully overhauled Siri. Very nice.

It’s being pitched as the budget-friendly option. So, if you don’t want to shell out loads, or haven’t got a ton to spend, you don’t have to. You can see the iPhone 16e price up above. And we’re pretty impressed by the cost, considering all of those epic specs you’ll be getting for the money.
