The Google Pixel 8a is finally here! Introducing several new exciting features and improvements over its predecessors, this device is powered by the Google Tensor G3 chip, incorporating many of the AI-driven functionalities of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Among these features are Gemini, Best Take and Audio Magic Eraser, tailored to enhance user experience in various aspects like photography and audio quality.

In terms of design, the Pixel 8a sports a refined look with rounded edges, a matte back, and an aluminium frame, which enhances its durability against slips, spills and dust. It is the most robust A-Series phone to date. Additionally, the phone's Actua display is 40% brighter than that of the Pixel 7a and boasts a faster 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling.

The new Pixel 8a stands out with a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 64-megapixel main lens and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, alongside a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with a wide field-of-view. These cameras are supported by Google's Tensor G3 chip, which powers AI tools such as Best Take, Magic Editor, and Audio Magic Eraser to refine photos and videos with minimal effort.

The phone also includes features like Super Res Zoom up to 8x, Magic Eraser, Night Sight and Photo Unblur. It also integrates Google's Real Tone to accurately capture diverse skin tones in photos and videos.

AI also simplifies task management with the introduction of Gemini, an AI assistant that aids in performing tasks like writing notes or planning trips. The device offers Circle to Search, which allows users to search information directly without switching apps, enhancing productivity. The Pixel Call Assist includes functionalities such as Call Screen, Direct My Call, and Hold for Me to streamline communications.
