The Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are the two best Samsung smartphones yet, and they come with some really interesting new features. So we’ve got hold of these two new phones to show you exactly how to use their best new bits.

How to use the Samsung Galaxy S6 fingerprint scanner

Samsung has updated its fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. While the ones on the Galaxy S5 and Note 4 needed you to swipe over them, the new one just needs you to put your finger on the home button. Here’s how to get it set up.

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the settings cog.

2. Tap ‘Lock screen and security’

3. Tap ‘Fingerprint’

4. Tap ‘Add fingerprint’ and follow the on screen instructions

Now when you want to unlock your phone, just put the finger you registered on the home button.
