Why isn’t my TV connecting to Wi-Fi?
If your TV’s struggling to get connected, don’t panic! Here are some of the most common issues and quick fixes:
Wrong password
This one seems obvious, but make sure you’ve entered the right password for your Wi-Fi network! If in doubt, check the back of your router – it’s usually printed there. Once you’re sure you’ve got it, try entering it again on your TV.
Weak Wi-Fi signal
If your TV is too far from your router, the signal might be too weak for a stable connection. Try moving your router closer to your TV, or pick up a Wi-Fi extender to boost the signal.
Outdated firmware
If your TV’s firmware is out of date, it might not work with Wi-Fi. Check for firmware updates on your TV manufacturer’s website and install them if they’re there.
Network interference
Other devices on your network might be causing issues with your TV’s Wi-Fi connection. Try turning off your other devices to see if it fixes the issue.
Router issues
If your routers having its own problems, your TV won’t be able to connect. Try restarting your router to see if that helps.
