Digital & Smart TV

Things to consider when buying a new TV:

If you want to want to watch what you want when you want, it pays to box clever! With a Freeview box, Freesat box, smart TV box, digital tv recorder, or TV entertainment package, you can watch entertainment your way, every day of the year.

What’s the difference between Freeview and Freesat?

You need an aerial for Freeview and a satellite dish for Freesat. So, if you have a poor aerial reception in your area, Freesat could be your best choice.

Both types of boxes offer lots of free TV channels. Freeview has over 70, while Freesat gives you the choice of over 180. Plus, they give you access to similar streaming services such as BBC iPlayer, Netflix and Prime Video from Amazon, although Freesat doesn’t have All4.

They’re also both quick and easy to set up. So in no time at all you’ll be able to watch all of their free-to-view TV channels, and check out the streaming services available. You can start viewing as soon as you register.

How can I watch more streaming services?

If your TV doesn’t include the streaming service you want to watch, or if you have a non-smart TV (one that doesn’t automatically connect to the internet), you might want to go for a smart TV box or streaming stick. Simply plug it into your TV, connect with your home Wi-Fi, and you’ve got loads more viewing options!
