Activating your Secure VPN account
Once you’ve purchased Secure VPN either online or in store, keep an eye on your email inbox. We’ll send you an email with a link to activate your new account - if you don’t see it, follow the link below to open the registration page.
Setting up your Secure VPN account
Follow these simple steps to set up your Secure VPN account for the first time:
What if my email isn’t recognised?
Don’t worry if you haven’t given us your email address - you’ll still be able to activate your account. Just select ‘Don’t have purchase info’ on the activation page.
You’ll then be asked for your SKU code and TXN number, both of which can be found on your in store receipt. If you purchased Secure VPN online, you can find your CURxxxxxx code in your order acknowledgement email.
Now that your account is activated, you're ready to start setting up Secure VPN.

*Card details will be required on activation, but no payment will be taken at this point. Your account will auto-renew at the end of your subscription period and the card you have provided will then be charged. You must notify us if you wish to cancel no less than 1 week prior to or no greater than 14 days after your subscription end date by completing the cancellation form.

PC & Mac
Get started by downloading the Secure VPN software from our download page.
You’ll then be taken through a few intro screens which will teach you the basics of using Secure VPN and help you with installation.
Installing the software is easy - just follow these simple steps:
Now that you’ve logged in, get started by selecting ‘Connect’ on the home screen. Secure VPN will connect to the optimal server for your location and make your browsing secure and private.
If you want to connect through other locations, try exploring the map or selecting ‘Locations’ in the menu.
You’ll stay logged in until you choose to log out, even if you close the software. Magic.
Smartphones & tablets
Secure VPN makes safe mobile browsing a breeze, even on public WiFi. It also protects any apps on your device that connect to the internet.
If you want to connect through other locations, try exploring the map or selecting ‘Locations’ in the menu.
You’ll stay logged in until you choose to log out, even if you close the app. Magic.

Navigation
Navigate Secure VPN like a pro on Windows and Mac with the handy menu on the left side of the screen. This can be expanded or collapsed.
Explore the below sections:
Home
This is where the magic happens.
On the Home screen you’ll find the Connect button, which connects you to the optimal server for your location or the last location you connected to.
There’s also a collapsible world map which allows you to connect from anywhere else in the world – just click and drag to move the map and select a location. Barbados, Paris, New York... the world is your oyster!
You can also find useful information here such as how long you’ve been connected, how much data you’ve sent through the VPN and what your public IP address is.
Locations
The Locations screen is a goldmine of information about our server locations.
Here you’ll find a more detailed list of our available server locations. We’ve sorted them alphabetically by country and then city, but you’re free to change the order if you wish.
Double-click on a location to connect to that city and close your existing connection. If you really want to get into the details, you can drill down to see the individual servers in any location and check how heavily loaded they are.
Select the star next to a location to add it to your Favourites. This will allow you to sort by Favourites and keep track of your most-used locations.

The Locations page opens up a more detailed list of our available server locations. Tap on a location to connect to the most optimal location in that country and close your existing connection, or choose a specific city yourself.
You’ll also find a search bar at the top of the screen where you can search by city or country. Select the star next to a location to add it to your Favourites to keep track of your most-used locations.
Settings
