Our repair centre is one of the largest in Europe, boasting a skilled team of around 1000 repair experts, dedicated to getting you back up and running. We check and successfully repair 1 million pieces of tech each year, so it’s safe to say we know what we’re doing, and we do it well! Also, each repair comes with a 12-month parts & labour guarantee, dated from when your repaired item is returned to you, so you can rest easy knowing we’ve fixed your item to the highest of standards.

If your tech is beyond repair, we’ll help you replace it with a £25 Currys eGift Card to spend on some new eligible tech (the credit on the e-Gift Card must be used within three months of its issue). And if that’s not enough, there are plenty of other ways to get more from your old tech. Get at least £5 off your next eligible purchase when you recycle any old tech in store (yes, any!) with Cash for Trash as well as our trade-in services.

Computers, Laptops & Consoles

You can also pop into your nearest store to arrange a repair. Once your repair is arranged, we'll send your broken item off to our Repairs Centre. Here, one of our skilled Repairs Experts will establish what the problem is.

Once they’ve run the diagnostics, our Repair Experts will call you to chat through your options and give you a competitive price for the parts and labour needed to repair your broken tech. We'll then fix it and return it in-store.

When it's time to collect your repaired item in-store, please bring your repair reference number and photo ID with you.

TVs

We’ll collect your TV from your home at a time that works for you and send it to our Repair Centre in Newark where one of our skilled repair experts will take a look.

Once they’ve run the diagnostics, our repair experts will call you to chat through your options and give you a competitive price for the parts needed to repair your TV. We’ll then get it fixed up and return your TV back to your home as soon as possible.

If you’d prefer to book your TV repair in-store, we’ll collect and return it to the same store to make your life that little bit easier. When it’s time to collect your repaired TV from store, you’ll need to bring your repair reference number and photo ID. This is really handy if you won’t be at home, as you can collect it any time.

Home Appliances

We’ll organise for one of our repair experts to visit your home as soon as possible. If we’ve diagnosed the problem over the phone and already know what parts are needed, we’ll arrange for the expert to visit as soon as the parts are available.

This makes the repair process really simple. Since we’ve already diagnosed the problem and will turn up with the parts we need, we’ll have the best chance of fixing your tech on our first visit.

Once you've arranged your appliance repair, we'll come to your home address to fix your item. If you want a TV repair, we'll collect your broken TV, and send if off to our Repair Centre.

Once you've arranged your repair, we'll collect your broken item from your home address. We'll deliver it back to you once it's fixed.

Yes, you can! Regardless of where you bought your item, we’ll do our very best to repair it successfully. Please note, this depends on us being able to get the replacement parts your item requires.

We repair appliances, mobiles, TVs, and laptops across most major tech brands.

However, there are some items we don't fix, which are listed at the bottom of each product repair page on our website.

We'll do our very best to fix your broken tech, but sometimes an item is beyond repair, or we can't get hold of the parts required to fix it. For appliances, we’ll refund the amount you paid, excluding the £75 non-refundable call out fee. For computing tech and TVs, the upfront fee is non-refundable as it covers delivery to and from our repair centre as well as diagnostics. We’ll explain why your item couldn’t be repaired and give you a £25 Currys eGift Card to spend on some new eligible tech (the credit on the e-Gift Card must be used within three months of its issue).

When we repair a broken device, we normally remove all data. So, as a precaution, before you give us your device, please make sure you've backed up everything.

You can find out if you’re covered for repairs through your item’s manufacturer by checking your warranty details. If you have any questions about your warranty, or about arranging a repair with us through your warranty, please come in-store to discuss, or call us on 0344 561 0000. Yes, we do! Currys is an accredited Microsoft repair provider, authorised to fix Microsoft Surface Laptops and Gaming Consoles using genuine Microsoft parts (except for Xbox 360 console repairs. For Xbox 360 repairs, we’ll use trusted parts).

Alternatively, you can use RepairLive to arrange your laptop or console fix. It’s quick, easy-to-use and our repair experts will sometimes quickly solve your technical issues there and then.

If your Microsoft Surface Laptop or Gaming Console develops a fault within the first year of purchase, it may be covered under manufacturer warranty, depending on the type of fault. If eligible, the repair will be free of charge.

Possibly. If it’s only a minor issue and you’re a dab hand at DIY, you might be able to fix it yourself. Take a look at our spare parts supplier Partsmaster - they’re the UK’s largest supplier of spares and accessories for household appliances.

We ask for a £50 upfront fee, which is non-refundable. This covers delivery to and from our repair centre and assessment of your broken tech. Once diagnostics have been run, we’ll give you a competitive price for the new parts and labour needed to fix your laptop or desktop.

We’ll charge the full payment upfront for your repair, which covers the diagnostics, parts and labour needed for our repair experts to work their magic and do their best to get your appliance back up and running. This also includes a £75 call out fee, which is non-refundable.

Once diagnostics have been run, we’ll give you a competitive price for the new parts needed to fix your TV.

If we’re repairing your appliance or mobile, what you pay upfront is what you pay in total. This covers everything from delivery and logistics to parts & labour.

When it comes to laptops and PCs, the upfront fee you pay covers delivery to and from our repair centre as well as diagnostics. It doesn’t cover replacement parts and labour to fix your tech, so you’ll pay extra for these, but at a very competitive price.

For TVs, the upfront fee you pay covers delivery to and from our repair centre, diagnostics and labour. It doesn’t cover replacement parts to fix your TV, so you’ll pay extra for these, but at a very competitive price.
