New Term. New Laptop.

Planning an event for university

From society socials to department open days - or your first ever open mic night - pulling it all together can be a lot. Luckily, with Copilot and a new laptop, it's way easier to organise everything…

Get the ideas flowing Step 1

Get the ideas flowing

Not sure what kind of event to run? Just ask Copilot to brainstorm a few ideas based on your society's vibe and previous get togethers. You'll get a whole list of great suggestions, from themed quiz nights to fancy dress parties. Choose your fave and go from there.

Lock in the plan Step 2

Lock in the plan

Once you're set on an idea, Copilot can help to draft a rough schedule and task list. It'll even throw in a few pointers you might not have thought about, like checking people's dietary requirements before you spend loads on snacks. It's a total lifesaver.

Budget like a boss Step 3

Budget like a boss

You're a student, so money is probably going to be tight. Use Excel on the Acer Aspire 14 AI to build a budget spreadsheet. Then, get Copilot to format it and flag anything that looks off. It'll make the whole thing a lot less stressful. And hopefully far cheaper!

Spread the word Step 4

Spread the word

Whether you need a short and snappy event description or a few social media captions, Copilot's on it. And those email invites you've been putting off? It'll generate those for you too. You'll save hours of just staring at a blank screen.

Keep it all on track Step 5

Keep it all on track

In the run-up to your event, use Copilot to set reminders, track RSVPs, and summarise your planning meetings. Everything will stay super organised, and you won't miss any important deadlines. Phew.

Acer Aspire 14 AI

You don't need to spend a ton to get a laptop that actually delivers. The Acer Aspire 14 AI is proof of that. It's built for all the uni essentials - from writing up notes and juggling spreadsheets, to firing off emails. It'll even handle a bit of design work if needed. And because of the Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 processor, you'll speed through all of it with zero slowdown.

Highlights:

  • Copilot is built in to help with homework, life admin and more.
  • Stunning OLED screen to enjoy your favourite content
  • Long lasting battery life for busy days
  • Thin & light chassis that won't weigh you down

Top 5 ways Copilot
can be your
creative assistant

Whether you're writing a script, making some graphics or just need a half-decent idea, Copilot's got your back. It's like having someone in your group project who actually pulls their weight for once…

Your AI design partner #1

Your AI design partner

Forget Photoshop. Copilot's Cocreator - powered by the snappy Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processor - will sort the eye-catching flyers and social media graphics for your next gig night. Describe what you're after (like a neon-themed battle of the bands poster) and boom. You'll have some visuals you can actually use. It'll save you hours. And makes you look way more pro than you probably feel.

Your ideas machine #2

Your ideas machine

The creative spark isn't sparking. The ideas have run dry. Uh oh. And you need someone - or something - to bounce a new approach off. That's where Copilot comes in. Get it to brainstorm some catchy taglines or outline a whole unique concept. Who knows, it might come up with one you hadn't even thought of before.

Your scriptwriting sidekick #3

Your scriptwriting sidekick

You're in your regular uni TV channel planning meeting and you've jotted down pages of messy notes on the Yoga 9 2-in-1 touchscreen. No worries. Copilot will turn those thoughts into polished scripts and slick presentation slides. It might even give you a heads up on a cool program idea too. Either way, you'll be working smarter and faster on all sorts of projects.

Your huge time saver #4

Your huge time saver

When you're constantly juggling design work, presentations and that essay you've left far too late (again), Copilot's got you. Sketch out a rough outline in Whiteboard, then ask the AI to turn it into something that's actually usable. Mood boards. Pitch decks. All of that takes literally seconds to whip up, which lets you spend more time on the big picture stuff. Or let's be honest, your tea break.

Staying organised with Copilot #5

Copilot anywhere

Start a project proposal on your phone, tweak it on your tablet and present it on your laptop. With Copilot, everything stays synced across devices. So, you can refine all your ideas pretty much anywhere, on anything. Plus, when a bolt of inspo strikes (even if it's at 2AM), you can note it down and have it stored instantly across all of them. And yes, it'll also keep track of the terrible ideas too. Just in case.

Lenovo Yoga 9 14” 2-in-1

For the big scribblers out there - the kind who fill notebooks with doodles, scrawls and random thoughts - check out the Lenovo Yoga 9 2-in-1. With the included stylus, you can write straight onto the screen during lectures, just like you would with a normal pad and pen. It's a lot more fun than that though.
Due to the power of the latest Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processor, this smart suite expertly juggles the CPU, NPU, iGPU and RAM, boosting power when you need it, and easing off when you don't. So, even if you're flagging after back-to-back lectures, your laptop will still be full of energy.
And when you've got something worth sharing? Flip it into tablet mode and show the group what you've been working on. Is it a laptop? Is it a tablet? Well, it's both!

Highlights:

  • Copilot built in to help you expand your creativity
  • Latest Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processor - for handling bigger creative tasks
  • 2-in-1 design - It's like having a laptop and tablet combined

6 study hacks that actually work

Let's face it – studying can be a slog. But with the right tech (and a little help from AI), it doesn't have to be. With Copilot and a new laptop, you can stay organised, focused, and actually remember what you learned. Study smarter, not harder…

Speed reader  #1

Speed reader

Lecture notes can take forever to go back through. But now, you can paste them into Copilot and ask it to highlight and sum up the key points. You'll get clean, bullet point takeaways you can then review before the next class. And you'll have the facts right there that you actually need to know. Trust us, it's a revision game-changer.

Deadlines sorted #2

Deadlines sorted

Keeping track of everything at uni is kind of a nightmare. Especially when you've got essays, revision and group projects piling up. Copilot to the rescue! It'll help you stay on top of it all by organising your to-do list and drafting handy study guides. And it wouldn't be uni without those looming, dreaded deadlines. So, make sure to set a reminder through Copilot. That way, you'll never miss a hand-in.

Presentation prep #3

Presentation prep

When you've left that presentation to the last minute (classic), you'll be glad you've got Copilot. Give it a rough outline and it'll build a full deck of slides - complete with headings, talking points and a title that won't send your lecturer to sleep. You'll look and feel way more prepared than you actually are.

Next-level notes #4

Next-level notes

Typing out loads of notes is great… until they turn into one giant wall of messy text. Use Copilot to condense your thoughts and sort things into smaller, more manageable chunks. It's perfect when you're trying to cram fast before a big exam. Or just need to understand what you wrote bleary eyed at 9am on a Monday morning.

Study buddy #5

Study buddy

Copilot works across your laptop, tablet and phone. So, you'll be able to squeeze in some extra study time on any device – even when you're on the train heading to mum's for the weekend. Ask it to explain tricky concepts (it's got quantum mechanics on lock) and have it create some flashcards. Then, when you feel clued up, get the AI to quiz you on the topic. You'll get that 100% score at some point!

Remember that? #6

Remember that?

Those 3pm study slumps are realllll. And you probably can't remember what you were even looking at post-lunch break, can you? Well, Microsoft's Recall tool does. It takes snapshots of your screen throughout the day, letting you scroll back and find that one graph, quote or website you forgot to bookmark. It'll save you from digging through loads of tabs or trying to remember what you searched.

ASUS Zenbook A14

If you're always on the move, swapping the library for lectures and then your fave coffee spot, you need a laptop that keeps up. The ASUS Zenbook A14 Copilot+ PC is ultra-light (under 1kg!), seriously powerful and has a battery life that feels kind of unreal. You'll get up to 32 hours in all. No more scrambling for your charger halfway through the day here.
It's built from a super durable Ceraluminum™ material - and that's as strong as it is stylish. So, it'll look the part while you hit the books on campus. And will easily handle any accidental knocks or scrapes while you're on the bus back to your house share.
With a Copilot+ PC, you'll have one of the fastest, most intelligent Windows PCs ever made. Your productivity and creativity are about to hit first-class levels.

Highlights:

  • Copilot built in to boost your productivity and creativity
  • Light & durable - Built from Ceraluminum™ to handle knocks or scrapes

Can we last a whole day without a charger?

Spoiler: I did - all thanks to the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge, powered by a Snapdragon X Plus processor…

Lecture hustle 8:30 AM

Lecture hustle

I barely had time to grab breakfast (I really need to stop snoozing my alarm), but my Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge was already good to go. I used Copilot to draft some lecture notes, check my schedule and throw together a quick to-do list. And I did all that before my first class had even started.

Group project grind 1:00 PM

Group project grind

After a packed morning, I jumped straight into a group project. We met on campus and were sharing files and sketching out ideas for hours. The design's I ran them through looked epic on the lush Full HD screen. And you think that'd drain the battery fast. But it was still going strong afterwards, without any drop in performance.

Chill mode, on 9:00 PM

Chill mode, on

Back at halls, I finally got to relax. I put on some Netflix and replied to a few messages - the WhatsApp drama is crazy right now. And there was still time - and charge leftover - to plan tomorrow's outfit. Yep, this laptop does that too! It's been a full-on day, but the Edge has barely flinched. With up to 26 hours of battery life, it's pretty easy to see why.

Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge

We get it, uni life gets hectic. You're probably constantly switching between creative projects, seminars and keeping the group chat going (yes, snack planning for games night is serious business). Enter the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge. It's got Copilot built in, letting you plan your week or draft an essay just by typing what you need. Throw in a Snapdragon X Plus processor, and those gazillion tabs you've got open for your research project won't make it chug either.

Highlights:

  • Copilot built in to help you exceed your potential
  • Super long lasting battery so you can leave that charger behind
  • Snapdragon X Plus processor provides fast performance
  • LED Full HD screen makes work and entertainment look stunning
  • Syncs up perfectly with your Galaxy phone or tablet
