How to play Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

If you’ve played a Like a Dragon title before, you’ll know the deal. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth lets you control returning characters Ichchiban and Kazuma in an open world RPG. It’s a mix of turn-based combat main mission story lines with decisions that’ll change your experience. But what makes Like a Dragon famous is the wacky side quests and activities.

In Infinite Wealth, you'll find returning fan-favourites like karaoke, darts and Mahjong alongside new mini games such as Crazy Delivery - a food delivery game inspired by Sega's Crazy Taxi franchise, Sujimon Battle - a Pokémon parody game, and Miss Match - a dating app. Not to mention a major side activity, Happy Resort Dondoko Island, that allows you to manage your very own resort island with objectives that include resource gathering, crafting, and social interactions.

Until we have the full game, we can’t say for sure. With the game taking place in both Japan and Hawaii, we might be looking at 150 hours or more. So you’ll definitely get a lot of bang for your buck!

Who are the main characters?

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth features dual protagonists, Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu. Although Kasuga serves as the main character from start to finish, Kiryu plays a significant role as a supporting character in Kasuga's journey. Kasuga, who has left his criminal past behind and is now working as a salary man in Tokyo, faces the daunting task of finding his long-lost mother, who has surfaced in Hawaii.

However, things don't go as planned and Kasuga finds himself mugged and stripped of all his possessions, left with no money and no local contacts. With Kiryu by his side, Kasuga needs to rebuild from scratch, earning money and staying alive as he delves into the underworld of criminal syndicates in Honolulu to find his mother before others do.
