Valentine’s Day usually means restaurants, romantic breaks, a movie and all the things that we can’t really do at the moment. But definitely don’t cancel. if there’s ever been a time when we all need to feel special, it’s now.

Besides, romance is all about what you feel inside. And lockdown is also about what’s inside. So, with our five date ideas, you can make your place the perfect spot for an amazing V Day date to remember.

And we haven’t forgotten about single people either. There’s no reason why you should miss out on a day of pampering.

1. Snuggle up with a good movie

Sitting down on the same sofa you watch midweek Netflix may not sound like the perfect date, but it’s all about what you do with it. Pick a romantic movie (Casablanca for something classy or When Harry Met Sally for some belly laughs), plump the cushions and dim the lights. Then tuck into heart-shaped box of chocolates and enjoy!
