What sparked your passion for content creation?
I've always loved documenting life. Little moments, conversations and memories. As I got older, my content reached people with similar experiences, especially other girls who didn't often see people like us in tech or travel spaces.
What was the biggest challenge in your first year?
Honestly? Getting comfortable on camera. It takes confidence to put yourself out there, and at first I felt really self-conscious. But the more I filmed and posted, the more I found my voice - and my community.
What's one piece of advice you wish you'd had starting out?
Start before you feel ready. Experiment as much as you can. Creating regularly teaches you far more than waiting for the “perfect” idea.
If you could keep just three pieces of tech, what would they be?
- My Canon EOS R50 V — it's my go-to for everything from travel to sit-down videos.
- A reliable SD card (or two!) because running out of storage mid-shoot is the worst.
- A good microphone — clear audio genuinely transforms your content.

How did you get into content creation?
I've always been a creative person - making things, filming silly projects, experimenting. I started a furniture business and used social media to market it. Woodworking videos turned into storytelling, and that's what I do now.
What was your biggest challenge starting out?
Being myself on camera. It sounds simple, but you kind of have to relearn it when the lens is pointing at you. Keep practising until it clicks.
What's one piece of advice you'd give new creators?
Don't think of social media as an algorithm - think of it as people. You're trying to connect with humans, not robots. Tell your story and give people a reason to care.
If you could only keep three pieces of tech, what would they be?
- My Sony a6700 for full creative control and cinematic quality.
