Our Care & Repair provides support in the event of unexpected mechanical or electrical breakdown that affects the operation of the product. It also includes enhanced features listed below which may provide you additional peace of mind and suit your needs better.

With our 7 Day Fix Promise, if it takes us more than 7 calendar days to repair your product, you can request a replacement. We’ll always try to repair your tech if it’s not working. But if we can’t, we’ll give you a Currys gift card at a value based on an equivalent or similar spec product so you can replace it.

Most manufacturer guarantees only cover breakdown. NOT a 7 Day Fix Promise like ours.

If your tech has already had two repairs and it breaks down again, you can ask for a Currys gift card to buy a replacement. And the faults don't even have to be related.

In addition to this, you won’t pay a penny more for parts, labour and call outs. We'll pay for it all. And if no fault is found you won't be charged.

For Household Appliances¹ and TVs, if we have to replace your tech we’ll deliver it the next day², install and recycle your old one free of charge if needed. These services will be provided to you via a Currys gift card.

We'll get you back up and running (For Computers & Gaming only).³ If you've had your computer or gaming tech replaced, our experts will help you get it working just how you like it. We'll transfer data from a backup, give you a one-to-one expert tutorial, and get it set up ready for use-and you won't have to pay any additional costs. These services will be provided to you via a Currys gift card.

This question depends entirely on the terms of your home insurance policy. Care & Repair is not an insurance policy and is an extended warranty plan only. We do NOT cover for accidental damage, cosmetic damage, loss or theft. In general, home insurance will cover theft and accidental damage but not mechanical breakdown.

There is usually an excess charge on a home insurance to any claims made. We do NOT charge any excess on any of the benefits of our plans.

If your tech develops a fault, simply call 0800 0121 909 and one of our experts will help you get back up and running in no time.

• We'll get you back up and running (For Computers & Gaming only).⁴ If you've had your computer or gaming tech replaced, our experts will help you get it working just how you like it. We'll transfer data from a backup, give you a one-to-one expert tutorial, and get it set up ready for use-and you won't have to pay any additional costs. These services will be provided to you via a Currys gift card.

• Squeaky clean valet (For Household Appliances only).² We'll give your Household Appliance an annual deep clean.

• Built-in battery on the blink? We’ve got your back. If your built-in battery fails to hold a charge, we’ll help you get back up and running without the extra cost. Just so you know, your plan doesn't include battery damage from improper maintenance, not following manufacturer guidelines or batteries that are changeable by the user.

We can offer Care & Repair in-store for products up to 12 months old, provided they are in fully functioning condition.

After 12 months Care & Repair can be purchased through our experts by calling 0344 800 6080 provided the products are in fully functioning condition. Care & Repair ‘Upfront’ plans purchased after 12 months may vary in length.

No, we do not take any additional charges for any payment method.

Care & Repair has fixed prices and we will therefore not price match. Our benefits vary from the manufacturers; for example, no excess costs, so therefore our prices may be different.

These answers are based on the current Terms and Conditions. Agreements taken out before February 2020 may have different benefits and entitlements.

Yes, we offer the following options to pay:

• For Pay Monthly plans, pay by direct debit - this will run continuously on a monthly basis until you no longer wish to continue the plan or if you reach the maximum plan life.

• Upfront plans (2, 3 or 5 years) can be paid in full, or over 10 instalments - ask in store for details.

• Upfront plan (2, 3 or 5 years) renewals can be paid in full, or over 3 payments.

No, there are no additional charges.

Before you call, we recommend you have your Care & Repair plan or reference number to hand as you will be asked for the reference number and to confirm the name and address on your plan. We will then ask for details of the fault or damage to the product so we can diagnose the problem.

TVs, computers and peripherals: If we cannot resolve the issue over the phone, your product will be sent to our Repair Centre in Newark where our repair experts will assess and repair the product.

Kitchen and laundry appliances: We will organise a repair expert visit as soon as possible. If we have diagnosed the problem over the phone and know what parts are required, we will arrange for the expert to visit as soon as the parts become available.

TVs, computers and peripherals: If we cannot resolve the issue over the phone, your product will be sent to our Repair Centre in Newark where our repair experts will assess and repair the product.

Kitchen and laundry appliances: We will organise a repair expert visit as soon as possible. If we have diagnosed the problem over the phone and know what parts are required, we will arrange for the expert to visit as soon as the parts become available.

To get you back up and running quickly, where we are dealing with the fault, we aim to repair products within 7 calendar days.

If we take over 7 calendar days to resolve the fault, you may request a replacement Product.

The 7 Day Fix Promise period will start on either:

• The day after the date you book in your Product in one of our stores.

• The date of our engineer’s first visit when access to the Product is gained.

• The day after the date that we collect your Product from you.

The 7 Day Fix Promise period will end:

• When the Product is back in store and available for you to collect.

• The first delivery date available to return the Product to you.

• When our engineer completes the repair.

If we take over 7 calendar days to resolve the fault, you may request a replacement Product by calling 0344 800 6080. If we cannot repair your Product you will be given a Currys gift card to obtain a replacement Product in one of our stores.

The 7 Day Fix Promise period will start on either:

• The day after the date you book in your Product in one of our stores.

• The date of our engineer’s first visit when access to the Product is gained.

• The day after the date that we collect your Product from you.

The 7 Day Fix Promise period will end:

• When the Product is back in store and available for you to collect.

• The first delivery date available to return the Product to you.

• When our engineer completes the repair.

The 7 Day Fix Promise does not apply if you have contacted the manufacturer or any other third party to carry out the repair direct and the fault is being resolved by the manufacturer or any other third party.

The 7 Day Fix Promise is subject to allowing us reasonable access to the Product for assessment and resolution. If we cannot get access to the Product (e.g. you are away), the 7 Day Fix Promise will not start. You will need to reschedule our engineer’s visit and the 7 Day Fix Promise will start when our engineer gains access to the Product.

You are entitled to renew your pay upfront plan (2, 3 or 5 years) at the end of the plan.

When your plan is due to renew, we will write to you a few weeks beforehand with your renewal offer and quote. If we haven’t heard from you by your renewal date, we will assume that you no longer wish to continue supporting your Product and your plan will lapse.

Please note in order to ensure that you are getting value from your plan there is a limit to how many renewals of your plan that you can make and how long the plan is available for your Product. We will write to you to let you know when the plan is no longer available for your Product (‘Maximum plan Life’). In order to ascertain the Maximum plan Life of your plan we will take into consideration a number of factors, for example (please note that this is not an exhaustive list):

• The age of the Product;

• The usability and functions of the Product.

Where your Product has reached its Maximum plan Life we will cancel your plan. We will write to you to in advance to give you reasonable notice and confirm the date that the plan will be cancelled. Where the Product has reached its Maximum plan Life it cannot be renewed.

Where you have a pay upfront plan (2, 3 or 5 years), not withstanding the above in relation to the Maximum plan Life, the plan will always apply for an initial 2, 3 or 5 year period in line with the length of the plan you have taken out.

Yes! If you’re buying a Pay Upfront plan and want to spread the cost, you can add Care & Repair to your credit purchase. Just keep in mind that the full Pay Upfront price will be added to your credit agreement at your agreed interest rate, so it could cost you more in the long run.

Your monthly payments will depend on which credit term you choose. If your Care & Repair plan ends before your credit agreement does, you may need to continue paying for the plan after the plan has ended. This also means you could end up paying interest on it even after the plan has ended.

And just so you know - if you choose a Pay Monthly plan or buy a Pay Upfront plan in store and choose to spread the plan over 10 instalments, you’ll need to purchase Care & Repair separately from your credit agreement.

Yes, the store can book a repair for you, or call the Contact Centre on your behalf for updates, reschedules and other information.

When booking a TV, computer or peripheral repair through a store, the item will be collected from store and then returned to the store once repaired. This is ideal if you are not at home to wait for your product to be collected or returned to you.

Not a problem. If you are going into the store to book the repair, just make sure you take two forms of identification; one being a photo ID and the other confirming your address, for example a utility bill.

You can cancel your plan at any time. If you have a Pay Upfront plan, your cooling off period is 45 days following your purchase. If you haven't used the plan within the 45 days, you're entitled to a full refund. After the 45 days, you can cancel the plan at any time and receive a pro rata refund based on the number of full unexpired months remaining on your plan. If you have a Pay Monthly plan your cooling off period is 14 days from receiving your documents following your purchase. If you haven't used the plan within the 14 days, you're entitled to a full refund. You can still cancel the plan after 14 days, but we won't be able to refund you.
