Instant replacement. Exactly what it sounds like. If your product breaks down, we’ll give you a new one on the spot.

If for any reason your product isn’t working due to an electrical or mechanical breakdown that affects the operation of the product, once your fault is confirmed we’ll give you a new one on the spot. Simply return your broken device to a Currys store and if we’ve got your product in stock we’ll swap it straight away or find you an alternative replacement.

Our Instant Replacement plan gives you 3 years of unlimited replacements, so you never have to go without the tech you love.

How good is that?

Of course not, we wouldn’t do that to you. There are no additional charges.

There are no limits, and you're entitled to as many new replacement products as necessary during the three years of your plan. And your plan continues even if your product is replaced. Magic!

Exclusions include accidental and cosmetic damage.

No, we don't offer renewals for Instant Replacement. Your Instant Replacement plan will expire after three years.

You don't have to do it right away. We can offer Instant Replacement in-store for products up to 12 months old, as long as they're in fully functioning condition.

No, Instant Replacement isn't an insurance policy. It's an extended warranty plan only, so wouldn't include accidental or cosmetic damage.

Of course not, we don't take any additional charges for any payment method. You must consult with your card provider for any charges or interest that may be applicable.

Instant Replacement agreements are dealt with in store only. All you have to do is return the item to a store with your agreement documentation or receipt. If the fault is confirmed, we'll replace your item on the spot.

You'll be asked to return the product to store where one of our friendly colleagues will confirm whether the product has broken down due to an electrical or mechanical fault. Once confirmed, we’ll give you a new one on the spot. If we’ve got your product in stock we’ll swap it straight away or find you an alternative replacement.

The replacement that we select for you will be a Product of equivalent or similar specification up to a maximum of your original Product purchase price paid. If an appropriate Product is not available, the price originally paid will be credited towards a Product of your choice.

The plan is for a total of 3 years, upon which your plan will expire. You are entitled to unlimited replacements during the 3 years of your plan.

However, we will cancel your Instant Replacement plan if;

• An appropriate replacement Product is no longer available and we issue you with a Currys gift card towards a Product of your choice, or;

• If the replacement Product you have chosen is not eligible for Instant Replacement.

If your Instant Replacement plan is terminated in either scenario you will be entitled to a pro rata refund of any plan payments made for the period after the date of termination of the plan.

Not a problem. If you are going into the store to get a replacement, just make sure you take two forms of identification; one being a photo ID and the other confirming your address, for example a utility bill.

Yes! You can cancel your plan at any time. Your cooling off period is 45 days following your purchase. If you haven't had your tech replaced within the 45 days, you're entitled to a full refund. After the 45 days, you can cancel the plan at any time and receive a pro rata refund based on the number of full unexpired months remaining on your plan.
