The AEG 7000 ProSteam LFSR71864B 8 kg 1600 Spin Washing Machine is best for households that get through a mix of everyday clothes, bedding and towels every week. Smart laundry care helps take some of the effort out of wash day, while specialist programmes make it easier to keep clothes looking their best.
Freshen up clothes without a full wash. The ProSteam programme uses steam to refresh garments in just 25 minutes. It's handy for clothes that have been worn once and need a quick freshen-up before being worn again.
Less sorting before laundry day. The MixLoad 69 min programme is designed for everyday mixed loads, so you can wash cottons and synthetics together. It automatically adjusts energy use based on the size of the load and delivers a thorough clean in just 69 minutes.
Uses only what's needed. PreciseWash automatically adjusts settings according to the amount of laundry in the drum. Smaller loads use less water, energy and time without you having to change any settings yourself.
Gentler on everyday favourites. The Care Drum features a smooth cushion-like pattern that helps clothes move more gently during the wash. A thin layer of water covers the drum openings to help protect fabrics.
Keeps laundry hygienically clean. The Hygiene programme removes more than 99.99% of bacteria and viruses from clothes. It also helps reduce allergens, making it a useful option for bedding, towels and baby clothes.
Fits more into a single wash. The 8 kg drum holds up to 40 T-shirts in one load, making it suitable for family laundry and larger household items.
Tech explained
Instead of separating cottons and synthetics into different washes, MixLoad 69 min is designed to clean everyday mixed laundry together. It automatically adjusts energy use according to load size and completes the cycle in just 69 minutes at 30°C.
Most washing machines use similar amounts of water and energy whether they're full or only partly loaded. PreciseWash detects how much laundry is in the drum and adapts the cycle to match, helping avoid using more water, energy and time than necessary on smaller loads.

We can also install your new appliance on the day we deliver, for most of the UK. Just add installation at the 'Confirm basket’ page, charge applies.
Here's what we'll do:
Check existing electrical and plumbing connections are safe and within 1.5 metres of the appliance.
Disconnect the existing appliance, un-box and check the new product.
Connect your new appliance to the electricity, mains water and waste.
Test there are no leaks and that the appliance is level and fully operational.
If you add recycling to your order we’ll also take your old appliance away for recycling.
If your new appliance is a Smart one:
We'll connect it to an existing Wi-Fi connection and install the relevant app on your smartphone and/or tablet.
Give you a demo of the Smart features and functionality so you can confidently use it right away.
Before we arrive, please check:
Make sure you have the necessary water & electricity connections within 1.5m of where you want your new machine to live.
Make sure there's clear access to the area you'd like your new appliance. If stairs are involved, please ensure there's room for us to move around.

Have your Wi-Fi network name and password handy, so we can test if your new machine works perfectly.

If your existing connection is hardwired (not a plug and socket), or your appliance will be installed in any room containing a bath or shower, please call us on 0344 561 1234 at least 48 hours before we deliver your new appliance so we can assign the right expert to complete your installation.

We can remove & recycle old appliances
Getting rid of an old appliance needn't be a hassle with our tech takeaway service. For a charge, we can remove and recycle your old washing machine when we deliver your new one. Just add "Let’s recycle it" to your basket when you check out.
If we're taking your old washing machine away, please disconnect it before we arrive (unless we're installing your new one). We prefer to take away washing machines empty of water. So, if possible, please empty yours before we arrive. If this is not possible, that's OK. We'll secure the doors of your old washing machine, making it safe for transport.
