The Nikon Z6 II mirrorless camera is best for events, travel and landscape photography. Its fast autofocus, strong low-light performance and weather-sealed build help you shoot confidently in challenging conditions.
Print bigger, crop closer. The 24.5-megapixel full-frame sensor captures detailed images with natural colours and a wide dynamic range. It gives you flexibility for cropping, large prints and preserving detail in highlights and shadows.
Slow it down and see more. Shoot 4K Ultra HD at up to 120 fps or Full HD at up to 240 fps to create smooth slow-motion footage. Full-pixel readout uses the entire sensor to capture more detail, helping footage look sharper and more natural.
Stay with the action. The Hybrid AF system with 3D-tracking follows fast, unpredictable subjects and helps keep them sharp. Shoot at up to 14 fps with autofocus and auto exposure to capture sports, wildlife and other split-second moments.
Capture more after dark. Low-Light AF down to -6 EV with an f/2 or faster lens helps the camera focus in very dark conditions, even under quarter-moon light. A wide ISO range helps maintain image quality when shooting in low light.
Built to keep up. Twin EXPEED 6 processors power fast autofocus and image processing. Capture up to 200 JPEGs or 124 RAW images in a burst without breaking your flow.
More freedom in post. ProRes RAW over HDMI, 10-bit output and HLG give you greater control over colour, exposure and detail. They also make it easier to capture HDR-ready footage with less work during editing.
Leave the tripod behind. 8.0-stop VR with Focus Point VR helps reduce blur when shooting handheld. It's particularly useful in low light and helps keep subjects sharp, even when they're away from the centre of the frame.
Tech explained
Many cameras only use part of the sensor when recording video. Full-pixel readout uses the entire sensor, capturing more image data before it creates the final video file. This helps footage retain fine details in textures, buildings and landscapes, while also helping colours and patterns look more natural on screen.
