And it doesn't matter if you bought your tech from us or elsewhere.

Recycling appliances on delivery

When we deliver your new appliance, we can take away your old one from as little as £20. This price depends on what you want us to take away.

Want us to take away your old appliance? When you order your new appliance online, just add Recycling to your basket.

We can take away these large items on delivery:

• Washing machines (including washer dryers)

• Tumble dryers

• Dishwashers

• Fridge freezers

• Cookers (including hobs, ovens, and hoods)

• TVs over 44"

If you want us to take away your old appliance, please make sure it's ready for removal. Make sure it's disconnected, and if it's built-in, removed from it's location.

Want us to take away a gas or duel-fuelled cooker? No problem! Just make sure a Gas Safe expert has disconnected it before we arrive.

If you want us to install your new appliance, please add Installation to your basket.

Small appliances

When we deliver your new appliance, we can take away small appliances for free. This depends on if there's room in our delivery van.

We can take away these small items on delivery:

• Kettles

• Toasters

• Vacuum cleaners etc

Disconnecting and installing items

Want us to disconnect and take away your old appliance? Need us to install your new one? No problem, we can do both!

Just add Recycling and Installation to your online basket.

Built-in and freestanding appliances. We can disconnect and take away both.

• Want us to install a new freestanding appliance? Then we can only disconnect an old freestanding one.

• Want us to disconnect an old built-in appliance? Please use our Webchat to arrange this.

• Want us to install a new electric oven and/or hob? Is your old item gas-fuelled? Please use our Webchat to arrange a Gas Safe expert to do the job.

Our recycling service conditions

• Before we accept an appliance for recycling, it must be safe to travel. Please defrost fridge freezers and empty washing machines and dishwashers of all water.
• We prefer to remove & recycle an appliance similar in size to the one we deliver. However, if we have room in our delivery van, we'll try our best to remove your old appliance if it's bigger than the one we deliver.
• If the manufacturer delivers your new appliance, they'll remove only a like-for-like old appliance. So, if you receive a new fridge freezer, they'll remove only an old fridge freezer.
• If you bring an old PC, tablet, or mobile in-store for recycling, please remove all personal data beforehand. We do also offer an in-store data wipe service.
• We won't remove & recycle industrial or car batteries. You can contact your local council to discuss the appropriate disposal of these items.
• Please be aware that we can't remove & recycle all old appliances. Appliances we can't remove include: immovable items and appliances hardwired into a fuse spur.

In July 2007, the government introduced new rules to help reduce volumes of untreated waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) going to landfill, and to control its treatment. To comply with these rules, we only sell electricals and electronics that can be recycled, as indicated by the symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin which appears on them.

Even if your old electrical appliances or technologies don’t bear this symbol, the good news is we'll accept them for recycling.
