How to play Princess Peach: Showtime!
Princess Peach was looking forward to a big night out with her loyal Toads at the Sparkle Theatre. But the evening quickly goes off script when the play’s rudely interrupted by the wicked Grape and their Sour Bunch of rotten co-stars.
Peach won't be letting them turn a perfect performance into a terrible tragedy, though. She’ll have to take on the lead role with her sidekick Stella to save the Sparkle Theatre from a serious upstaging!
Take control of Peach and use Stella's magical ribbon to face off against those berry bandits in this largely 2.5D platformer. And when that doesn't cut it, just turn Peach into a sword-wielding superstar. Those dastardly antagonists should be no match for her show-stopping moves deserving of a standing ovation.
But Peach will have to play a few more characters to save other stolen performances. Like Detective Peach, where you’ll have to channel your inner Poirot to find nicked artefacts and track down whodunit.
Or win over the audience with Pâtissier Peach by whipping up a selection of cakes in record time to replace the desserts robbed from the Sweets Festival. There’ll be a sugar crash if you’re too slow in these mini games!
And finally — there’s Kung Fu Peach. The Sour Bunch have taken over a martial arts school and you must direct Peach to fight off those foul fiends with combat techniques that’d put Bruce Lee to shame. Who said Peach didn’t have range, eh?

We reckon that Princess Peach: Showtime! will offer a good few hours of theatrical fun. With the odd plot twist thrown in to make the story anything but predictable.

Peach will have to use all her acting, fighting, baking, and detective skills to stop the wicked Grape and their lackeys from rewriting the script at the eleventh hour.
But remember, you’ll have Stella serving by your side as a staunch stagehand. She’ll make sure that you never forget a line, and that powerful ribbon should come in handy for some play-saving improv.
What Princess Peach: Showtime features are player-customisable?
Peach will go through a few costume changes when the set needs swapping over. And each alter ego should offer up new abilities too — from slashing through enemies as Swordfighter Peach to putting the finishing touches on a red velvet as Pâtissier Peach. But we don’t think you’ll get to tweak your outfit on the fly.
What are the different Princess Peach: Showtime game mode options?
Like any good play, a game must also have a well-written plot. And it looks like Princess Peach: Showtime’s main story mode is where you’ll do most of your playing.
But from watching the trailer, you should get to complete various mini games too. And in similar spirit to Mario Party, you might be able to play these outside of the story mode for fast-paced thrills.
Will Princess Peach: Showtime have a multiplayer mode?
Princess Peach takes the spotlight in this game and there won’t be any room for a co-lead. But at least you’ll have Stella backing you up, and maybe even a trusty Toad or two.
