New features – powered by Ai

The Galaxy S25 Edge is packed with Ai-powered features to make your life easier.

  • The Now Bar is a smart and always-connected strip that runs along the bottom of your screen. It subtly pops up with actions or information based on what you’re doing. For example, if you're reading a message about dinner plans, the Now Bar might suggest opening your calendar or Maps to help you get organised. It’s a neat little touch that cuts down on app-hopping and time-wasting.

  • Drawing Assist is another highlight, which turns rough sketches or handwritten notes into polished shapes or legible text.

  • Note Assist can clean up, summarise, and format your notes automatically. This makes the Galaxy S25 Edge feels more like a digital assistant than a mere note-taker.

  • Google’s Gemini Live is deeply integrated into the Galaxy S25 Edge, so it can respond more intuitively to what’s on screen. For example, if you’re watching a cooking video, it might suggest saving the recipe or opening a shopping list for ingredients.

Design and display – thing, light and tough

The Galaxy S25 Edge is a real looker. At just 5.8mm thick and weighing 163g, it’s slimmer and lighter than any other flagship phone we can think of. But it doesn’t feel fragile when you hold it in your hand. Samsung has used Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2 on the front of the display and Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 on the back, so it’s super tough. The reduced thickness also makes a difference in real life. The slim design makes it comfortable to hold for long sessions or use one-handed – and it slips into your pocket easily.

On the front you’ll find a a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits of peak brightness. In other words, it looks sharp, scrolls smoothly, and is bright enough to use comfortably outdoors - even on sunny days.

Camera - a 200MP sensor with pro features

The Galaxy S25 Edge features a large 200MP main camera sensor, along with a 12MP front camera. With a little help from Ai, it handles everything from everyday shots to pro portraits.

In normal lighting, photos are crisp, detailed, and colourful. Low-light shots look better than ever thanks to the improved Nightography feature. This reduces noise and improves clarity with no extra effort on your part.

There’s no dedicated telephoto lens on the Galaxy S25 Edge (that’s reserved for the Galaxy S25 Ultra). But you can use the AI Zoom solution to zoom in on far-off objects and capture more details. And with Samsung’s ProVisual Engine on board, the phone processes images more naturally than ever before. Skin tones look more accurate, and shadows look as dark and moody as they do in real life.

Under the hood - powerful and cool (literally)

Under the hood - powerful and cool (literally)

The Galaxy S25 Edge is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, which you’ll find on the rest of the Galaxy S25 family. That’s good news, because it's a high-end chipset that can handle advanced Ai tasks.

Don’t worry about running out of space for all your apps, games and pet videos. The Galaxy S25 Edge comes with 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, so you won’t have to keep constantly deleting things to make room for more.

Samsung has also redesigned the internal cooling system. The vapor chamber is now 140% larger, which helps keep temperatures in check during longer gaming sessions or video calls.

Battery-wise, the Galaxy S25 Edge packs a 3,900mAh cell, which is pretty sizeable for a phone this thin. You should be able to last all day without any issues. The phone also supports fast charging, wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

Is it worth upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge?

The Galaxy S25 Edge is all about smart, thoughtful upgrades designed to make your life better. It takes everything that Samsung phones are famous for (powerful performance, immersive display, and awesome camera tech) - and packs it into a sleek, lightweight and premium design. If you’re looking for the latest in Ai (see the features above), it could be the phone for you.

Samsung has also guaranteed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will get seven years of security and operating system updates. So you know you’re getting a phone that’s built for the future.
