Our experts have rated the LG C6 42" OLED AI 4K HDR Smart TV as best for gaming, thanks to its 4K@165Hz refresh rate for ultra-smooth gameplay and 0.1 ms response time, helping every frame stay sharp and responsive. Brightness Booster delivers a noticeably brighter picture, so highlights pop and scenes feel more lifelike. The α11 AI Processor 4K is constantly fine-tuning picture and sound as you watch, analysing what's on screen in real time to balance brightness, contrast and detail more naturally. Self-lit OLED pixels mean blacks look genuinely black, not “darkish grey”. You get pinpoint contrast, crisp detail and colour that stays true, whether you're watching in daylight or with the lights down.

Good to know

- The webOS smart platform is home to apps like Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video
- The AI Magic Remote lets you point, click and use voice control to search
- Filmmaker Mode turns off any picture processing that can make movies look unnatural
- AI Sound Pro transforms 2-channel audio into cinematic virtual 9.1.2 surround sound
- Dolby Vision HDR boosts brightness and contrast for more detail in every scene
- Dolby Atmos adds spacious, 3D-style sound that makes action scenes and soundtracks feel bigger
- Game Optimiser fine tunes your settings, so your games look and sound their best
- G-Sync, FreeSync and HGiG help deliver tear-free visuals with optimised HDR
- WOW Orchestra seamlessly pairs your TV with a compatible soundbar
- Its thin and light design looks great on a stand or mounted on the wall
