The Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra is best for developers and creators who want to run AI models and agents locally. Its NVIDIA RTX Spark™ superchip with 5120-core GPU and 18-core CPU gives you desktop-quality performance, and it's light enough to take anywhere with you.

Power that keeps up with your ideas. The Surface Laptop Ultra is powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark™, bringing together Blackwell RTX GPU and Grace CPU tech into a single chip. It's built to run AI models and agents locally, complex AI workflows and demanding creative apps on your laptop, rather than in the cloud.

Keep your work on your device. 24 GB of unified memory, shared by the CPU and GPU, means that your laptop can do more on your device, rather than relying on the cloud. That means workflows can run faster, and you can keep control on your data by working with it on your laptop.

Stays cool. The new thermal system dissipates heat faster and has up to 2.5x the thermal capacity of the Surface Laptop 15” (8th gen). That means it keeps performing consistently instead of tapering off halfway through a render.

Packed with detail. The 15" PixelSense Ultra touchscreen reaches up to 2000 nits of HDR brightness. That means every detail stays clear even in bright environments, so the colour and exposure decisions you make on screen are the ones that end up in the final file.

All the ports you need. You get three USB-C ports, a USB-A 3.1 port and an HDMI 2.1b output. That lets you drive an external display, connect peripherals and charge without needing adapters.

Fast and reliable connections. WiFi 7 gives you a speedy and stable connection, so you can pull large assets from the cloud and join video reviews without interruptions.

All-day battery life. The 6-cell lithium-ion battery gives you up to 15 hours of use, depending on how you're using your laptop. That's longer than traditional high-performance laptops, and more than enough to get through a full day of work.

Thin and travel-friendly. At under 18 mm thick and weighing 2.0 kg, it's easy to slip into a bag without weighing you down.

Tech explained

NVIDIA RTX Spark™ is a single chip that houses both the processor and the graphics, rather than keeping them apart. That closeness also lets it share one pool of unified memory, which is exactly what large AI models need to run without stalling. That means you can do more on your laptop without having to send sensitive data to the cloud.

How do I return my iPhone 18 Pro Max?
The new iPhone 18 Pro Max has the biggest battery of any iPhone. Due to transport regulations for phones with larger lithium batteries, it requires a different returns process. For now, if you need to return your phone, take it to any Currys store with proof of purchase. Your legal and statutory rights are not affected.
