HappyFunland PS VR2 platforms and crossplay
The clue is in the title when it comes to HappyFunland PS VR2. Even Scooby and the gang could have worked that out! This blood-curdling game can only be played on PlayStation 5, and you’ll need the official VR2 headset and sense controllers too.
Having said that, it looks like a version of the game will be available to pre-order on Steam very soon. So, if you’re using a VR headset from another brand then you’ll also get to experience HappyFunland too — "where fun conquers boredom, and fantasy vanquishes reality." It’s a single-player game, so crossplay won’t be available.
How to play HappyFunland PS VR2
HappyFunland is a VR horror experience that combines immersive cinematic storytelling with dramatic interactive play. You’ll get to ride the thrilling rides — like "Marauders of the Tropic Isles'' and "Feral Squirrel's Nutty Excursion" — solve puzzles, escape rigged rooms, and defend yourself against enemy automaton robots that roam the park. Many years ago, they went haywire and killed all the visitors. So, there will be plenty of jump scares in store.
Oh, we forgot to mention, HappyFunland is built in the middle of a South Florida swamp too. So, you’ll have to keep your wits about you, as there may be alligators swimming around. Yikes. And the park’s mascot, Randy the Rodent, will probably set a few dastardly traps to stop you from shutting the park down for good.
How many hours of gameplay will HappyFunland PS VR2 have?
It’s not a matter of how many hours of play the game offers in total. It’s more about how many hours — even minutes — you can tolerate playing HappyFunland for at a time. If you’re brave, we reckon this petrifying game will give you up to ten horrifying hours of fun.
What are HappyFunland PS VR2’s main factions/characters?
You’ll encounter plenty of creepy characters in HappyFunland. But before you face off against any possessed park attendants or killer robots, you’ll meet Larry. This suspicious southern stranger is the man you agreed to the mission with. Perhaps if you'd known of the gruesome events that had happened, you wouldn’t have said “yes” to his job ad. Oops. Larry will take you around the grounds, but we doubt he’ll be sticking around for long…
And what about Mort Grisly, the park’s founder? This firearms, alcohol and tobacco kingpin opened the park in the late ‘60s, but it closed shortly after his mysterious death. Was that robot rampage an act of revenge that went too far? There’s also a rumour that Mort Grisly has been cryogenically frozen and he’s hidden somewhere in the park. But you’ll have to get through a few fairground frights before you find him.
What HappyFunland PS VR2 features are player-customisable?
We don’t think you’ll be able to customise much. But it looks like you can collect different weapons to defend yourself with though — from a crazy golf putter to a pirate sword. We’d recommend finding a gun from the shooting range ASAP.
What are the different HappyFunland PS VR2 game mode options?
From what we’ve seen so far, HappyFunland will just have a main story mode. It’s a no-frills kind of game, but it’ll keep you up at night with its spine-chilling thrills — that’s for sure.
Will HappyFunland PS VR2 have a multiplayer mode?
You won’t be able to call for backup in HappyFunland, we’re afraid. You’ll be all on your own as you explore the ruined remains of the doomed theme park. If you do hear a friendly voice calling you from the distance, then you better stay extra frosty.
