Just Dance 2025 Edition platforms and crossplay

Just Dance 25 Edition can be fired up on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Crossplay support was available for the 2024 version of the game, so it's probably a safe bet it'll be offered for this latest instalment. That means if you're rocking a PS5, you should be able to challenge your friend playing on Xbox to a boogie or two!

And regardless of whether you or your mates own Just Dance 2023, 2024, or 2025 — all players are connected on the same platform. If you own these previous editions yourself, you’ll have access to your content from those games together in the same place too.

How to play Just Dance 2025 Edition

It's all about shaking it until you make it in Just Dance 2025. Perform energetic dance routines by mimicking the movements of the characters you see on your screen. But don’t worry if you can’t react fast enough, as you’ll have scrolling indicators giving you a heads up on the next moves. And the more accurate and in time you are — the more points you'll score.

It’s not only for pro dancers though. There's choreography for different levels — just select your coach (Easy, Medium, or Hard) and dance the night away with your family and friends, no matter how good or bad you are. Even dad can join in! Plus, some songs offer different difficulties depending on which coach you choose.

Speaking of songs, there's 40 banging new tunes coming with Just Dance 2025. Chart-topping hits, pop party anthems, and a few all-time classics are in the mix. But if Madonna's "Vogue" or Sia's "Unstoppable" don't do it for you, there are way more songs you can jump, spin, and sway along to with a Just Dance+ subscription.

It includes hundreds of legacy tracks from previous games and new exclusives too. And Just Dance 2025 Edition comes with a 1-month free trial, so you can experience the full Just Dance+ library from the get-go and decide if you want to commit later on. There’s also year-round themed seasonal events featuring fun bonus songs and cool rewards you can earn.

We have no news on specific customisation features just yet. Going by what you can do in Just Dance 2024 Edition though, we’d assume you’ll get to at least change up your Dancer Card. This is what’s visible to other players when you’re competing in Multiplayer Mode, which gives them a hint of what you’re all about. And we reckon you’ll get to create custom playlists like last year’s game too.

What are the different Just Dance 2025 Edition game mode options?

Ubisoft haven’t said much about the game’s main story mode just yet. What we do know is that if you fancy a fun way to exercise — enter Just Dance 2025’s Workout Mode. You can kick off your own routine and stay motivated by tracking calories you’ve burned and the time you’ve spent moving your feet. And it can be played solo or with your family and friends in Multiplayer Mode.

Will Just Dance 2025 Edition have a multiplayer mode?

You won't have to dance all by yourself. You can make family gatherings far more entertaining with the Multiplayer Mode, through local co-op on the same console. Or dance off against up to six friends via online multiplayer instead.
