What is WWE 2K24’s release date?
WWE 2K24 enters the ring on March 8, 2024. So, make sure you’ve got your entrance music sorted.
Can I pre-order WWE 2K24?
You sure can. And if you do, you’ll get some bonus digital goodies to play with. The Nightmare Family Pack includes four exclusive wrestlers and skins – Stardust, ‘Superstar’ Billy Graham, Undashing Cody Rhodes, and Mattel Cody Rhodes. They’ll also chuck in some MyFACTION cards to customise your online profile with too. Nice.
How much will WWE 2K24 cost?
You don’t have to own a wrestling franchise to get your hands on this one. WWE 2K24 will cost you £64.99 on current-gen consoles, £60 on PS4 and Xbox One, and £50 on PC.
WWE 2K24 platforms and crossplay
You can grab your copy of WWE 2K24 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/Series S, Xbox One, and on PC through Steam. If you’re gaming on Switch though, you’ll be missing out. Sorry Nintendo players!
Unfortunately, last year’s edition didn’t have a crossplay feature. And we haven’t heard about one being included this time round either. But there’s still time, so hopefully they announce it closer to launch. Otherwise, how will you prove to your mate over on Xbox that you’re the ultimate champ?
How to play WWE 2K24
If you’ve played any title in the franchise, you’ll already know that the WWE 2K series is the most immersive wrestling experience out there. In every bout, you’ll step into the shoes of WWE superstars past and present to battle it out for the win.
There’s a whole arsenal of grapples, strikes, slams and special moves to master if you want to claim the championship belt though. Or you know, you could just whack your rival over the head with a steel chair if that’s more your style…
Your timing is going to have to be on point too. If you’re quick enough, you can reverse your opponents’ moves with a well-timed button press. And that one moment could completely swing the match in your favour. So, stay on your toes!
How many hours of gameplay will WWE 2K24 have?
There’s honestly as much gameplay here as you want there to be. The beauty of the WWE games is their replayability. So, there’s a good chance you’ll still be playing by the time next year’s instalment rolls around.
Who are the main characters in WWE 2K24?
This year’s roster looks absolutely stacked. There’s going to be a star-studded line-up of more than 200 characters from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. And of course, there are all the huge legends too. Here are just some of the confirmed faces we know about so far:

There are plans to add extra superstars further down the line as well. So, if your favourite fighter isn’t in the game just yet, there’s a good chance they’ll show up later on!
Which WWE 2K24 features are player customisable?
We haven’t got confirmation just yet, but if it’s anything like the other games in the series, you’ll be able to make your own custom fighter from scratch in the Creation Suite. And you won’t just be choosing which shiny leotard to wear. You can tweak everything from their fighting style, right down to their list of signature moves. We’ve already got an idea for The Rock’s new tag team partner – The Pebble, anyone?
And just like the older titles, we’ve spotted some different skins for the biggest names in the game. As it’s now been 40 years of WrestleMania (if you can believe it), we’ve got our fingers crossed for Macho Man Randy Savage’s iconic crown look. How cool would that be?
What are the different WWE 2K24 game mode options?
WWE 2K24 is packed full of different game modes. Of course, you’ve got your classic Royal Rumble, Hell in a Cell, and Tables, Ladders and Chairs matches. But here are a few others we can’t wait to try out:
MyGM – If you don’t fancy getting smashed through a wooden table, become a general manager instead. You’ll swap the ring for the boardroom, where you’ll have to draft your own roster, sort contracts, and trade wrestlers to put on epic live shows. But you’re not the only one looking for a piece of the action. Rival GMs and brands will be competing with you every step of the way…
MyFACTION – Ever wanted to make your own wrestling faction? Now you can! Collect and build a unique squad of legends and superstars from any era to dominate the ring. Pair The Rock with Roman Reigns for the ultimate tag team. Or Big Show and Andre the Giant for a larger-than-life duo.
MyRISE – Go from humble rookie to a legendary WWE champion in two separate story arcs.
New match types – Gauntlet, Casket and Ambulance matches make their first appearance in a WWE game. It sounds like The Undertaker is about to have a great time…
2K Showcase of the Immortals – Take control of wrestling royalty and recreate incredible moments from WrestleMania’s 40-year history.
Will WWE 2K24 have a multiplayer mode?
We all remember the iconic feud between The Rock and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin back in the day. And in WWE 2K24, you can go head-to-head against your mates and other wrestlers online to create your very own rivalries. Whether that’s a face off in a quick multiplayer match, or a months long scrap for the top spot on the new ranked leaderboards.
