CES 2025 is the main attraction in Las Vegas right now, with the world’s top tech companies unveiling their latest products for the new year. And that includes some incredible telly tech which could be making its way into your lounge very soon.

Let’s have a look at which TVs have been stealing the headlines so far…

Samsung TVs

We’re always eager to see what Samsung brings to CES each year. Especially after 2024, where they showcased a jaw-dropping transparent Micro-LED screen! But the main talking point was their lineup of Ai-loaded TVs. And for 2025, they’ve taken them to the next level:

Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN990F TV

Samsung hasn't just launched another dazzling 8K screen. The Neo QLED 8K QN990F is their most advanced TV to date and packing Samsung Vision AI — an innovative new technology that makes the TV aware of its surroundings and adapt. This means it’ll analyse both content and your space in real-time to make sure that every on-screen moment is captivating.

But this brand-new tech is mostly designed to simplify your life with a range of personalised features:

  • Click to Search: Want to learn out more about something? Just click on it with the remote and you'll get the info you want instantly. Whether that's finding out the name of an actor in the latest blockbuster you’re streaming, or where a certain scene was shot.

  • Live Translate: This handy Ai tool breaks down language barriers with real-time subtitle translations. So, you can tune into content from all over the world and easily make sense of it.

  • Generative Wallpaper: Turning the Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN990F into a work of art is easy with this nifty feature. It’s perfect for giving that special family gathering a talking point without being as distracting as a show!

Samsung Vision AI isn't exclusive to this flagship screen either. It's integrated across Samsung's 2025 lineup — including their new Neo QLED, OLED, QLED, and The Frame models. That means there's a whole range of adaptive screens coming soon.

The new flagship 8K TV's NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor does give it a performance edge though, with a few more Ai tricks working behind the scenes. Like 8K AI Upscaling Pro, which can bring low-res content up to razor-sharp 8K quality. And Auto HDR Remastering Pro, which analyses content frame by frame and expands the colours for more lifelike and vibrant visuals.

Samsung The Frame Pro TV

Samsung The Frame TVs have been around since 2017. But if you’ve never seen them before, the beauty of these TVs is that they blend into your home just like a picture frame. This is thanks to an elegant, slim design and swappable bezel frame. They even have an Art Mode that transforms their screen into a picture gallery!

At CES 2025, Samsung has expanded its unique range with the The Frame Pro. With advanced Neo QLED picture quality and a NQ4 Gen3 AI Processor, this fancy new display provides brighter colours and improved local dimming for richer contrast. It even comes with Samsung's Wireless One Connect, which makes it a doddle to install with less cable clutter.

What's more, there are now 3,000 curated works in the Samsung Art Store. Which means you can spruce up your space with a range of inspiring pieces day-to-day. You can load these up onto Samsung's 2025 Micro LED, Neo QLED, and QLED models too.

Hisense TVs

It’s hard to miss Hisense at CES, as they always set up a massive display area. But they’ve really gone big at CES 2025. That’s because they’re showcasing a couple of gargantuan new screens featuring some ground-breaking tech:

Hisense 116UX TriChroma Mini-LED TV

At CES 2024, Hisense debuted their 110UX Mini-LED TV featuring a huge 110” display. But this year, they’ve gone even bigger and bolder with the 116UX TV. And at 116 inches, this makes it the largest Mini-LED TV in the world!

Like the 110UX, the Hisense 116UX delivers an incredible peak brightness of 10,000 nits. Which combined with its low-reflection tech, means it should look super clear in any setting. Hisense’s latest flagship Hi-View AI Engine X processor will always be running in the background optimising every image too. Hisense really have covered all of the bases with this one…

But the 116UX also marks the debut of Hisense’s RGB Local Dimming Technology. It uses thousands of individual red, green, and blue LEDs to generate pure colours at the source rather than via backlights filtered through quantum dots. Hisense say this means richer, deeper, and more precise shades that cover 97% of the BT 2020 colour space. That’s the widest colour gamut ever achieved in a Mini-LED display.

Hisense 136MX Micro-LED TV

Believe it or not, the 116UX isn’t the biggest screen Hisense have brought to CES 2025. It’s actually the 136MX — a 136” behemoth with a Micro-LED display, making it the first Hisense TV to feature this innovative screen tech.

As you’d have guessed, micro LEDs are even smaller than mini LEDs. And Hisense say that nearly 25 million of these microscopic LEDs make up the 136MX’s massive screen, with each pixel being its own light source. This self-emitting design means there’s no need for a backlight, resulting in dazzling brightness and near-infinite contrast like an OLED TV.

The enormous Hisense 136MX TV is also powered by the Hi-View AI Engine X processor, which can optimise colours and details in every frame. And if you’re a gamer looking for the most immersive screen that can keep up with your console or PC, the 136MX’s 120Hz refresh rate, auto low-latency mode, and FreeSync Premium Pro will keep everything looking and feeling smooth.

TCL QM6K QD-Mini LED TV

If you’re looking to upgrade your telly in 2025 without breaking the bank, add TCL’s QM6K series to your list right now. TCL describe these new TVs as being “affordable premium”, which basically means they offer some proper good features for the price.

For starters, the QM6K comes packing a Super High Energy LED chip that boosts brightness by up to 53% over last year’s models while improving energy efficiency by 10%. Nice. And with a redesigned backlight system that’s reduced the gap between the backlight and diffuser plate, you’ll see virtually zero blooming. Which means clearer visuals and sharper contrast — especially with 500 local dimming zones working their magic.

A 144Hz refresh rate also makes this TV great for fast-paced gaming. And if you’re a movie lover, there’s Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos built in for an immersive cinematic experience. TCL’s catered for every budget and room size too, with the QM6K available in 50”, 55”, 65”, 75”, 85” and 98” sizes.

LG OLED evo M5 and G5 TVs

Listen up gamers — this just might be the big screen upgrade you’ve been waiting for. Why? Because LG’s new flagship OLED evo M5 is the world’s first TV that can wirelessly transmit 4K 144Hz video. Wow. This feature allows you to put the TV anywhere and send both audio and video to it without having to plug in any source. And it’s completely free of latency, so you can game with just as much responsiveness as if your PS5, Xbox, or gaming PC was hooked up.

But if you don’t mind playing wired, check out the OLED evo G5 TV that LG also unveiled at CES 2025. It not only boasts a 4K panel with a rapid 165Hz refresh rate, but has VRR, Nvidia G-Sync, and AMD FreeSync Premium built in too.

Both TVs also run on the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen2, which uses deep learning algorithms to enhance the quality of images and sounds. And they have even more Ai smarts onboard to personalise your experience, courtesy of their handy AI Remote controls:

  • AI Welcome: When you turn the TV on, you will be greeted by your name and provided with tailored recommendations based on your viewing habits.

  • AI Search: Using a Large Language Model (LLM), LG’s 2025 OLED evo TVs can understand even casual, conversational speech for more accurate search results.

  • AI Chatbot: If you have any issues, you can just ask the AI Chatbot for some timely assistance.

LG and Xbox partner up!

There’s even more reason for gamers to get excited about LG’s latest smart TVs for 2025. They’ve just announced they’re teaming up with Xbox to give you access to hundreds of games via an amazing Xbox app.

The new cloud Gaming Portal will even allow direct access to titles with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. So, you’ll get to play recently-released games including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and look forward to upcoming releases like Avowed.
